Condition & Notes

This unit is in excellent condition. It is complete with all the original packaging, foam bag, power supply, power cable, and documentation.

Although this 20” Cinema Display was introduced alongside the 23” and 30” versions in 2004, it is the only one of the three that does NOT include the “HD” moniker in its name (i.e. “Apple Cinema HD Display”), due to its smaller screen size and therefore lower resolution. Even still, it looks just as sharp as these other displays in person.

Model Identifier

This is the 20” DVI-based Cinema Display introduced in 2004.

 Packaging

A compartmentalized foam bag was provided to protect all the connectors.

The top of the box has this red “Lucky you” sticker on it. According to several online sources, these stickers were used in Apple stores during the 2007 holiday season to tag items which had been ordered and paid for online. This way, employees knew that these items were ready for pickup by the customer. Some sources say this was used for items ordered as gifts. If you worked at an Apple store then and can confirm this, please shoot me an email using the blue button at the top of the site!

The end of the cable splits into DVI, USB, FireWire 400, and DC power.

Display

The rear has USB and FireWire 400 hubs.

Still bright and crisp nearly 20 years later!
