Model Identifier
This is the third revision of the 15” LCD Apple Studio Display, introduced at Seybold 1999 alongside the new Power Mac G4. It is the last Apple Studio Display to use this form factor with the removable stand and optional ‘portrait’ configuration.
Packaging
Display
Apple points out in the user’s guide that this stand has the two rubber pads on either side, which are useful for keeping the keyboard from sliding off if it’s slid up onto there to free up desk space when not in use.
The end of the single cable passes through a security loop before splitting into DVI, USB, and DC power (there is a separate power supply).
Built-in USB hub for peripherals.
The display with its Portrait Stand in place. Apple suggests that this can be used for when users want the display to be more “portable”, such as when carrying it around to give presentations.
Accessory Kit
Setup guide, AppleCare & support guide, warranty info, software CD, power cable, power brick, Apple stickers, and the ‘portrait’ stand.
